Merlin is the AI layer we're building into Blue Collar Wizard. He isn't meant to be another chatbot sitting in the corner waiting for a clever prompt.

Blue Collar Wizard is being designed around residential contractors — remodelers, painters, handymen, specialty trades and growing service businesses where a handful of people may be selling, scheduling, managing crews, solving field problems and trying to get invoices out before dinner.
It should work when you're sitting at a desk. It should also work when you're standing in a customer's driveway.
We're building the tool we wanted to use ourselves — starting with the operational foundation, testing it in real workflows, and refining it around what actually helps people get work done.
Blue Collar Wizard is in active development, with a current target of entering closed alpha near the end of Q4 2026.
That alpha is intended to begin a much longer validation period. Before we ask other contractors to trust BCW with their businesses, we want to run a real contracting company on it ourselves — day after day, through the messy parts, for roughly a year.
Our earliest current target for any meaningful public release is Q1 2028.
We want BCW to prove itself in a real company before we ask anyone else to run theirs on it.
These are development targets, not locked release dates. The timeline will move if the product needs more time.
